As a documentary photographer my sole purpose is to capture the purest and most authentic version of your love story as possible. During your wedding day there are so many incredible moments unfolding all around you that you may go unnoticed. This is why I find it so important to look for in-between moments, small details and genuine emotions as they actually happen. I want your photos to be a emotional time machine that takes your back to this day no matter how many years or generations go by.
There is no love story that is one in the same. Allow your photos to reflect that.
I am a documentary style photographer, story teller, nature lover, food enthusiast, & your go to gal behind the camera. I have long been obsessed with telling stories through the medium of photography and film. Be it the unique way of capturing 10 different emotions all with a single photos, or the way that looking at a photos from years ago brings you back, photography to me is a form of love language and one I'm blessed to call a career Let's Chat!

Documentary photography is for those who want to capture the moment and emotions exactly as it unfolded. The ones who don't want the traditional weddings photos that make you feel stiff and awkward. Allow me to let you in on a secrete, If you ever felt like you weren't 'photogenic' or just hated taking photos of yourself, it wasn't you. It's how you were being photographed. I promise, I've been there too 😂 My approach is laid back and candid. I want you to feel as relaxed as possible and be your authentic self! I'm not there to force you into poses but to capture your story as it is.

Catherine did my maternity shoot and another session outdoor with my husband. I was very hesitant to book a maternity session because I don’t know how to pose for the camera, but Catherine made me feel so comfortable. She made it fun and easy, and wow- the photos are amazing.
She is a true professional, and has all the skills needed to get the best out of you. We left the session with her thinking “wow, that was so much fun, who knew?”
