Hi there! I'm Cat – photographer and storyteller
Your photographer is the one telling your story during some of the most important moments of your life. That choice matters. I’m a documentary wedding photographer who believes photography holds power. It should honor people as they are, love as it exists, and moments as they unfold. I don’t believe in forcing your day into a mold or recreating something that isn’t yours. I’m there to document your wedding in a way that feels authentic to you!

The inspiration
People are more interesting than perfection.
Before photographing weddings, I was drawn to documentaries and short films. Not because everything looked perfect, but because it didn’t.
People interrupted each other. Things happened in the background. Stories weren’t always obvious until you paid attention.
Weddings are a lot like that.
The photograph everyone expects is happening at the same time as ten things nobody planned for. I’m always looking for both.
The Approach
I’m not showing up as a stranger with a camera.
By the time your wedding gets here, I want to know more than your timeline.
I want to know which family photos actually matter to you. Who needs a little extra time. What you’re excited about. What you’re worried about. Whether you want a lot of direction or would rather I leave you alone as much as possible.
We figure those things out way before the wedding.
So on the day itself, you don’t have to manage me, wonder what comes next, or spend your time thinking about whether I’m getting everything.

I photograph love, and love has always been political. Whose love is protected, whose is celebrated, and whose is questioned has never been neutral. Choosing to document love in all its forms is a choice, and it is one I make with care and conviction.
My work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be seen with dignity, safety, and joy. I am intentional about creating a space where people feel safe to be themselves, fully and without apology. Telling these stories is not separate from my values. It is how they live and breathe through my work.
